The dining area in one of the villas offers a view of the front garden. And brings it inside, too.
Known as “lucky bamboo”, this group of bamboo plants is woven together, forming a hollow cylinder.
Are you looking for a PERFECT tropical island for a honeymoon or vacation? One that will allow you to relax completely and return home filled with a sense of peace? Already tried Maui, Hawaii and looking for an even better experience? Come to Bali!!
The dining area in one of the villas offers a view of the front garden. And brings it inside, too.
Known as “lucky bamboo”, this group of bamboo plants is woven together, forming a hollow cylinder.
A recent shopping trip brought a new statue.
Placed in the niche by a villa's front door (yes, double-doors secured by a padlock – very common in Bali).
Genesha is regarded by the Balinese as the god of knowledge and justice. The Indian Hindu also know him as the “remover of obstacles.”
Just inside the front door, Saraswati now resides in a larger niche in the living room.
Her escorts are swans. On her special day in Bali, books are offered for blessing by her.
The main living and dining area.
Main living area, looking toward the back of the double front door, secured by a simple sliding bar of wood.
Detail of vase in the main living area, and front yard.
The dining area, looking toward the backyard and kitchen pass-through window.
The dining area, looking toward the living area.
TV and DVD, looking into the back yard.
The bed and private garden. More plants and flowers coming soon!
The master bedroom suite – the bed and looking out at the private pool.
The master bookcase / console.
The master vanity – and you can see the walk-in shower reflected in the mirror.
The master bath, with a luxurious soaking tub overlooking the private garden.
A twin guest room and closet door.
A twin guest room and private garden. Yes, the mattresses are super thick and very comfy.
The twin guest vanity. You can just see the pillows on the beds in the mirror.
The twin guest bath and open walk-in shower.
Looking at the master bedroom, pool steps and lounge chair.
First, the front gate.
The villa is being furnished as I type! Here are the under counter cabinets in the kitchen, and the pass-through window.
And a display cabinet in the living room. Note the double wooden doors - this is the front door. (Most of the built-ins are already in place.)
The closet in the master bedroom is huge. You're seeing the short hanging space over built-in shelving. Behind the door is a space just as big for full-length dresses!
The master bath, looking into the private garden.
And vice versa - looking out the master bedroom to the private garden, to the smaller window at the foot of the master bath tub.

There are no doors / windows yet, but the villa openings have been framed.
And looking uphill... The spa is the first set of buildings (the roofing tile is still work-in-progress), then the villa, then the back of the hotel building.
The kitchen counters are shaping up. The counter tile is a bit darker than the floor tile, which is a light pink/brown granite color.
Here is the pool - not yet filled, but tiled! And the "infinity edge" is on 3 sides at the end of the pool, overlooking the stream.
Another view, showing the steps that extend the full width of the pool for easy in-and-out. No more hauling oneself up on a shakey ladder with a bottom rung almost too high to reach, like at some hotels! The large opening is to the master bedroom, which will have sliding glass doors opening to the pool. Only a couple of steps from bed for an early morning swim. And past the ladder, the next opening is onto the private garden beside the master bedroom - no flowers yet, just the white-painted wall. And above the wall, you may be able to just make out the umbrella of one of the tables at the hotel pool, and the glass doors of one the room that overlooks the hotel pool.
View of the temple wall from the back of the master bedroom.
Another angle on the temple wall, this from the gate out of the master bedroom garden.
View from the hotel, looking past the public pool, slightly downhill to the villa.
It's a more traditional Balinese roof with tiles over the Master Bedroom...
... and the spare bedroom and the living / dining area. (How do the construction workers get to the roof? With homemade wooden ladders.)
Now we are standing at the left-edge of the front gate opening, looking in at the front door opening.
Move left several feet and look in through the carport gate toward the Living / Dining area (with future large glass windows and doors) and you can just see the edge of the front door to the far right.
Looking out from the Master Bathroom into what will become a private garden, visible from the bathtub for some serious relaxation!
At the bottom of this photo is the future "infinity edge" of the private pool. So this is the view you will see as you swim toward "infinity".
The upper left corner is a tarp that the workers are using for protection from the sun as they get ready to put in the pool tiles!!!
View of the backyard from the Living / Dining area.
Kitchen counters are starting to go in.
Looking out the back kitchen window (the sill is just at the bottom of the photo), past the pool sun deck (the concrete above the window sill), ignore the construction materials covering future landscaping, and you're looking a the view from the kitchen window.
End of the tour - looking out of the front gate, ready to leave the villa. Turn right to go slightly downhill to the spa.
Or turn left and head back to the hotel.
